Psychological Safety on the Worksite

This 2-hour course is designed for anybody who works in the construction industry, whether you are a leader or a  crew member on a worksite.

Creating an acceptable worksite culture makes sense when we understand the impact of unacceptable behaviour. Having a clear grasp of how physical safety, collaboration, productivity, retention, individual mindset and attitude, and time management are affected when worksite culture is (or isn’t) functioning to its highest potential is crucial. With Builders Code worksite culture training, companies learn how to foster an environment where everyone can feel safe, included, and valued as a keystone to individual and business success.

Course Outcomes:

  • Understand why negative behaviors like hazing, bullying and harassment pose safety risks.
  • Identify and address barriers that can prevent a psychologically safe worksite.
  • Learn what you can do to help improve the culture around you.
  • Reduce incidences of discrimination, bias, due to age, gender, ethnicity, and other factors that are unrelated to work performance.
